Born into a family of professional artists, musicians and performers, artistic endeavors have always been a part of my life. I wanted to be an actress from age 10, and have explored many types of creative expression including painting, singing, writing poetry and songs, composing piano music and finally, coming full circle back to where I started - acting. I think acting is the only art form that uses the whole person as an instrument and allows for total integration with life. I love it because it gives me the freedom to live out all the potential lives I carry within me and use all the material of my person, including, physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. I believe in creating truthful, emotionally present, powerful characters.
